Q: When you think about the history of slavery in the United States, what are some of the things you find particularly striking about how it’s been viewed and dealt with?
A: There’s no question that there are very few Americans today who would consider themselves abolitionists.
There’s a very small number of people who think slavery is a good idea.
There are about 30 people who consider it a bad idea.
The vast majority of Americans don’t have that kind of prejudice.Q
